Itinerary: Enjoy Sandan Waterfall & Kurobuchi Boat Crossing – Japanese Guide Course
• 10:00 Departure from Sandankyo Main Entrance (shuttle)
• 10:30 Arrival at Sandankyo Mizunashi Entrance
• Guided Walking Tour: 4 hours / 8.7 km
• 14:30 Arrival back at Sandankyo Main Entrance on foot

10:00 – Depart Sandankyo Main Entrance
Transfer to Mizunashiguchi by shared vehicle.
10:30 – Arrive at Mizunashiguchi, greeted by your guide.
The local guide will be waiting at Mizunashiguchi. From here, your nature walk in Sandankyo begins.

Walk with your guide through the beautiful gorge of Sandankyo, learning about the seasonal scenery and streams.
Sandan Waterfall (Highlight)
From Mizunashiguchi to Sandan Waterfall, enjoy the grand scenery of the gorge. Along the way, your guide will point out highlights.
Mizunashiguchi → Kurobuchi
Along the route, you’ll see powerful large falls and delicate small cascades, with diverse landscapes that change with the seasons.
Kurobuchi Boat Crossing (Highlight)
At the famous spot “Kurobuchi,” experience a boat crossing. The quiet ride over the still waters is a unique moment only found in the gorge.
Kurobuchi → Sandankyo Main Entrance
From Kurobuchi back to the Main Entrance, the path is lined with waterfalls and scenic views of all sizes, keeping the journey exciting until the very end, with superb spots perfect for concluding your trip.
14:30 – Arrive at Sandankyo Main Entrance and disband
After fully enjoying the charm of the gorge, you’ll arrive back at the Main Entrance. This marks the end of the tour. Thank you for joining.

Important Notes
- Please purchase the number of tickets needed for all participants at once.
- Tickets are valid only on weekdays from October 1 (Wed) to November 28 (Fri), 2025.
- Tickets expire 24 hours after first use.
- Tickets purchased together cannot be refunded separately.
- Refunds must follow the policies of the purchase platform.
- No refunds are available once a ticket has been activated.
- A mobile network connection is required to use the ticket.
- Local coupons are valid only on the date of ticket activation.
(Example: If you activate your ticket on Oct. 1, the exchange coupon must also be used on Oct. 1. The coupon validity is only for that same day.) - Coupon exchange hours: 9:30–10:00. If not exchanged during this time, the right is forfeited.
- Coupons are non-refundable: if not used on the exchange day, the right is forfeited.
- Coupon inquiries: LOUPE (Coupon exchange location: TEL 090-3421-3046)
- If all restaurants that accept the local coupon are closed, a bento (1,000 yen) can be ordered at the ticket exchange location (LOUPE).
Orders are accepted when exchanging the coupon, until 10:00 on the same day. Bento will be available for pickup after 12:00. Please check the restaurant information for closure dates. - In case of severe weather or river flooding due to rain, Kurobuchiso (meal and boat service) will suspend operations, and coupons cannot be used there.
- Coupons are valid only on the exchange day and are non-refundable.
